Worship is at the heart of everything we do. Whether your best connection to God is through contemporary music or through hymns, we have a place for you. Weekly worship at Johnston Chapel UMC happens on Sunday mornings.
8:30 | Contemporary
The contemporary serivce is less formal in ritual and includes worship songs you might hear on Christian radio. We sing, pray, and hear a message rooted in scripture.
11:00 | Traditional
The traditional service has a more formal ritual with the Apostles’ Creed, Gloria Patri, hymns, and a choir. While this service is “traditional,” you’re still welcome to wear whatever you want. Remember: Our only dress code is “please do!”.
