Johnston Chapel Serves
We are a church that believes in serving our neighbors, both faraway and at home. We’re always looking for more ways to show the love of Christ to people and meet needs. Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 25 on loving “even the least of these” is taken seriously. Here are just a few ways Johnston Chapel reaches out to our neighbors.
McComb Interdenominational Care Association (M.I.C.A.)
We partner with M.I.C.A. to stock a food bank for people facing food insecurity.
Christmas Gift Box Program
Throughout the year, we back gift boxes to be distributed to children in Central American and the Caribbean at Christmas time. These boxes meet tangible needs and allow kids to simply be kids.
Disaster Response
Partnering with the United Methodist Committee on Relief, we contribute cleaning buckets, hygiene kits, and other items needed in the aftermath of a disaster.
Foreign Missions
We partner with several foreign missionaries in countries such as Haiti and Nicaragua for share the gospel and help people in need.
