Student Ministry at Johnston Chapel
Johnston Chapel takes seriously the words of Jesus, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:17 NIV) Our programs with kids and youth are supervised and taught by trained and background checked adults who are committed to a safe environment in which kids of all ages can grow in Christ.
Sunday School
In Sunday School, kids are allowed to play and have fun learning about God. Youth gather for lessons and support from one another and teachers who care about their growth and wellbeing.
- Sundays at 10:00 AM (classes for elementary and middle school/high school students)
Kids and Youth Groups
Both kids and youth (middle school and up) have groups with which they play, study, and talk about their faith. Much of the time, it may look like playing, but Jesus is in the midst of all of it and growth is happening!

The Team
Along with rotating helpers (most often parents), these are the people helping kids and youth learn about God at Johnston Chapel.
